The Complete Formula: All 14 Vitamins
Vitamin D is necessary for the normal growth and development of bone in children. Contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, to the maintenance of normal teeth, and to the normal function of the immune system.*
Natural D3 (cholecalciferol) — the same form produced by sunlight. 15µg per 10ml serving = 300% RI, consistent with Belgian and Dutch health authority guidance for year-round supplementation in children.
Contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal psychological function, and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.*
60mg per 10ml serving. Also contributes to normal collagen formation and to the normal function of the nervous system.*
Contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal vision, and to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes.*
Natural beta-carotene (provitamin A). The body converts it to vitamin A as needed, which avoids the risk of excess associated with preformed retinol. 200µg RE per 10ml = 25% RI.
Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.*
12mg per 10ml serving = 100% RI. Protects cell membranes from damage caused by free radicals.
Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting. Vitamins D and K together contribute to the maintenance of normal bone structure.*
This formula includes both K1 (phylloquinone) and natural K2 in the MK-7 form. MK-7 has a significantly longer half-life in the body than K1 alone, making it more effective at supporting bone mineralisation. 15µg of each per 10ml serving.
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the normal function of the nervous system, and to normal psychological function.*
0.9mg per 10ml = 81% RI. The foundation of cellular energy production.
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to the maintenance of normal vision, to the maintenance of normal skin, and to the normal function of the nervous system.*
1.2mg per 10ml = 85% RI.
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to the normal function of the nervous system, and to normal psychological function.*
16mg per 10ml = 100% RI.
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and to normal mental performance.*
6mg per 10ml = 100% RI. Note: the approved EFSA claim for B5 is “normal mental performance” — not “cognitive function” (which applies to iron and iodine).
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to the normal function of the immune system, and to normal psychological function.*
1.2mg per 10ml = 85% RI.
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the normal function of the nervous system, and to normal psychological function.*
50µg per 10ml = 100% RI. Also contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin.*
Contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to the normal function of the immune system, and to normal psychological function.*
100µg per 10ml = 50% RI. This formula contains folic acid (the synthetic form, as listed in the nutrition table) — not folate.
Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to the normal function of the immune system, and to normal psychological function.*
3µg per 10ml = 120% RI.

About this product
Description
Every school morning, every sports session, every homework hour — a child’s growing body requires a consistent supply of vitamins to support normal energy metabolism, immune function, and bone development. Diet alone does not always provide adequate amounts of vitamin D, B12, and folic acid in children — even in households where meals are varied and balanced.
This formula brings together all 14 essential vitamins in amounts aligned with European reference intake values for children aged 3–12. Each vitamin is selected in a form the body can use — natural D3, natural K2 (MK-7), natural beta-carotene, and active B vitamins. The result is a complete, transparent formula with nothing hidden and nothing exaggerated. The natural orange flavour makes it genuinely easy for children to take every day, without added sugars, artificial colours, or artificial flavours.

Why Liquid Multivitamin Instead of Gummies or Tablets?
Most children’s multivitamins come as gummies or chewable tablets. While convenient, these formats require binders, bulking agents, sweeteners, and often artificial flavours to maintain texture and palatability. Gummy vitamins in particular frequently contain as much sugar per serving as a piece of confectionery.
A liquid syrup like this one needs none of those additions. The formula contains no added sugars — sweetened only with organic orange juice concentrate and agave syrup — and no artificial colours or flavours. For children who resist chewable tablets or have difficulty with gummies, a liquid syrup also removes the texture and swallowing barrier entirely.
Liquids are also dose-adjustable. The 5ml / 10ml split by age means younger children aged 3–6 receive an amount appropriate for their size, while older children and teenagers receive the full serving — from the same bottle.
Why Active Vitamin Forms?
Not all vitamin supplements contain the same forms of each nutrient. The form of a vitamin determines how readily the body can recognise and use it. This formula uses:
Natural beta-carotene (provitamin A) — converted by the body to vitamin A only as needed. Unlike preformed retinol, beta-carotene does not accumulate to excess in the body.
Natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) — the same form the body produces through sunlight exposure. Cholecalciferol is more effective at raising serum vitamin D levels than ergocalciferol (D2).
Natural vitamin K2 (MK-7 form) — the long-chain menaquinone form. MK-7 has a significantly longer half-life in the body than K1 alone, providing more sustained activity for bone mineralisation support.
Folic acid (vitamin B9) — the synthetic form used in this formula, as listed in the nutrition table. Folic acid is stable, well-studied, and the form referenced in all EFSA-approved health claims.
Every vitamin is included at a dose aligned with European reference intake values for children aged 3–12 — not adult doses scaled down, but amounts calibrated for growing children.
What Does EFSA-Approved Mean for This Product?
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is the EU body responsible for evaluating the scientific evidence behind health claims on food and supplement products. Under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006, only claims that have passed EFSA’s scientific review may appear on supplement packaging and product pages sold in Europe.
Every health claim on this page — from “vitamin D is necessary for the normal growth and development of bone in children” to “vitamins B2, B6, B9, B12 and C contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue” — appears on the EU Register of authorised nutrition and health claims. Fisher Kinder uses only approved EFSA claims on all its products.
No claim on this page is exaggerated, implied, or based on unpublished research. No claim describes a treatment, a cure, or a therapeutic effect. Every statement is backed by reviewed scientific evidence and authorised under EU law.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need a multivitamin if they eat a balanced diet?
A balanced diet is always the primary source of vitamins and minerals. However, studies consistently show that children aged 3–12 frequently have gaps in vitamin D, B12, and folic acid intake — even in households where meals are varied. Vitamin D in particular cannot be obtained in adequate amounts from food alone in Northern and Central Europe, where sunlight exposure is insufficient for most of the year. A daily multivitamin at the doses in this formula is designed to fill those gaps without the risk of excess. All doses are aligned with European reference intake values for children.
What is the difference between this multivitamin and the Fisher Kinder B-Complex?
The B-Complex focuses on the full spectrum of eight B vitamins plus zinc, often at higher relative doses per serving. It does not include fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E or K. The Multivitamins formula provides comprehensive daily coverage across all 14 essential vitamins, including those fat-soluble vitamins that play critical roles in bone development, vision, and immune function. If your child has a specific need for energy support or nervous system function, a dedicated B-complex provides more targeted amounts. For general daily nutritional coverage, the Multivitamins is the more complete option.
Why is vitamin D at 300% of the reference intake?
Vitamin D is unique among vitamins because the body produces it primarily through sunlight exposure, not food intake. In Belgium, the Netherlands, and most of Northern and Central Europe, sunlight exposure is insufficient for adequate vitamin D synthesis for most of the year. The 15µg dose (300% RI) in this formula is within the safe upper intake level established by EFSA for children and is consistent with supplementation guidance from Belgian and Dutch health authorities, who recommend vitamin D supplementation for children throughout the year.
Why does this formula include both vitamin K1 and K2?
Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone, MK-7 form) serve overlapping but distinct roles. K1 is primarily involved in normal blood clotting. K2, particularly in the MK-7 form, has a significantly longer half-life in the body and is more effective at directing calcium to bones rather than soft tissues. Including both ensures comprehensive coverage for bone mineralisation and blood clotting functions. Both are included at 15µg per serving.
Does this product contain sugar?
No added sugars. The syrup is naturally sweetened with organic orange juice concentrate and agave syrup. It contains no sucrose, glucose syrup, or artificial sweeteners. Parents concerned about sugar intake can use this formula without adding to their child’s daily sugar load.
Can I give this multivitamin alongside Fisher Kinder Iron?
Yes. The Multivitamins formula does not contain iron, so there is no risk of exceeding iron reference intakes when using both products. If your child takes both, it is preferable to take them at different times of day to allow each formula to be absorbed independently. The Multivitamins contains vitamin C, which supports non-haem iron absorption — so taking the multivitamin in the morning and the iron syrup later in the day works well.
Is this product safe for children taking medication?
This formula contains vitamin K1 and K2. Vitamin K interacts with coumarin-based anticoagulant medications (blood thinners such as warfarin). This product is not suitable for children taking anticoagulant medication. For children taking any other regular medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. This product is not a medicine and does not treat or prevent any condition.
How long does one bottle last?
At the 5ml dose (ages 3–6), one 125ml bottle lasts 25 days. At the 10ml dose (ages 7–12 and adults), one bottle lasts approximately 12–13 days.
